Gloucester Ridge is a planned small but exclusive
residential estate adjoining the Pemberton forests.
Pemberton is located 343km south of Perth, Western Australia, along
the South West Highway. It is situated in a valley, surrounded by the
pristine virgin karri forests of the Gloucester National Park and the
Pemberton Forest Park.
Initially founded on the timber and dairy industries,
the region has grown into a popular holiday destination and is attracting
a residential population because of its natural environment, crystal
clear waters and laid back lifestyle. The region is also known for its
delicious marron that inhabit the local waterways.
Gloucester Ridge sits alongside the famous Gloucester Ridge Winery established
by Don and Sue Hancock in the early 1980's, when they commenced planting
what was to become the first commercial vineyard in the Pemberton Region.
The site allocated to the new estate is encircled by nature and will
evolve from the various aspects that have attracted thousands to its
vineyards. In its new life, these aspects can now be enjoyed by residents
in a private enclosed environment.
The Gloucester Ridge development is still in its very early stages of
planning. For further information about Gloucester Ridge contact Andrew
